Announcement Support for this product will end on November 3, 2025. We recommend that you use PATROL for Linux, PATROL for AIX, or PATROL for Solaris to monitor operating systems.

DUMP Option dialog box

Use the %DUMP Option dialog box to gather basic system information as well as to review the current state of various aspects of PATROL such as which KMs are loaded, how many PSL errors have occurred since the agent started, and which tasks are currently being performed.

PATROL writes the information to the file that you specify in the Output File for Diagnostics field of the Select-Categories-of-Diagnostics-dialog-box and writes some but not all of the same information to a task object, Capture UNIX Diagnostics, in the UNIX OS container.
