Product overview

The PATROL for Scripting KM allows you to write a script in the language of your choice. You can use the script to discover instances, collect performance metrics, and send it to the TrueSight Operations Management.

The KM provides great flexibility and allows you to add additional data collection without having to understand or write PSL. You can execute multiple scripts from multiple hosts from a single PATROL Agent. The KM supports multiple formats of script files, like .sh, .bash, .pl, and so on. It also enables you to run scripts locally or remotely across multiple platforms. It allows distribution of script files to remote hosts, bulk host addition for monitoring, and provides default configuration settings. It also provides some out of the box scripts to help you get started with the monitoring.
