Loading and unloading KMs on PATROL Central Operator - Web

This section describes how to load or unload product KMs on the PATROL Central Operator -Web edition.

To load KMs on PATROL Central Operator - Web Edition

PATROL Central Operator - Web Edition has a Loading Knowledge Modules wizard with which you can select KMs and the managed systems on which they are loaded.

1. In the Operator Home tab of the navigation area, click General Tasks.
2. Click Load Knowledge Modules.

3. Select the managed systems on which you want to load KMs, and click Next>.

   Note

   Click Select All to work with all the managed systems in the list.

4. If necessary, change the filter option by selecting All, KMs, or KMLs.
    Select the knowledge modules that you want to load. If you want to load multiple knowledge modules, hold down Ctrl and select multiple KMs, or hold down Shift and select all the KMs in a range. You can also click Select All to select all available KMs.
5. Click Next>.
6. In the Loading Knowledge Modules Wizard Complete window, click Finish.
    PATROL loads the selected Knowledge Modules on the selected managed systems.

To unload KMs on PATROL Central Operator - Web Edition

PATROL Central Operator - Web Edition has a wizard with which you can unload specified .km files from specified managed systems.

1. In the Operator Home tab of the navigation area, click General Tasks.
2. In the General Tasks page in the results area, click Unload Knowledge Modules.

3. In the Selecting Managed Systems window, select the managed systems on which you want to unload KMs, and click Next>.

   Click Select All to work with all the managed systems in the list.

4. In the Knowledge Modules window, select the knowledge modules that you want to unload. If you want to unload multiple knowledge modules, hold down Ctrl and select multiple KMs, or hold down Shift and select all of the KMs in a range. You can also click Select All to select all available KMs.
5. Click Next>.
6. In the Unloading Knowledge Modules Wizard Complete window, click Finish.
