Deploying Java archive files for SAP PI monitoring

To prepare for SAP PI monitoring , set up a group of required Java archive (.jar ) files on the PATROL Agent host computer, by performing the following steps.

To set up the .jar files for SAP PI monitoring

1. Copy the following SAP Java archive (.jar ) files from the specified SAP directories:

   logging.jar	\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS<InstanceNumber> \j2ee\cluster\server0\bin\system
   sldclient.jar	\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS<InstanceNumber> \j2ee\cluster\server0\bin\ext\tc~sld~sldclient_sda
   SAP PI 7.10 or later monitoring
   sap.com~tc~bl~jarm~jarm.jar	\usr\sap\ <SID> \DVEBMGS <instanceNumber> \j2ee\cluster\bin\core_lib
   sap.com~tc~clients~http~all.jar	\usr\sap\ <SID> \DVEBMGS <instanceNumber> \j2ee\j2eeclient
   sap.com~tc~sld~lcrclient_lib~impl.jar	\usr\sap\ <SID> \DVEBMGS <instanceNumber> \j2ee\cluster\bin\ext\com.sap.lcr.api.cimclient

2. Place these files in the appropriate location on the computer that hosts the PATROL Agent:
   • Microsoft Windows: %PATROL_HOME%\SSMKM\jars
   • UNIX (all types): $PATROL_HOME/../SSMKM/jars/
