Stopping and starting the Java Data Collector

You can control the functionality of the Java Data Collector, the major product collector responsible for retrieving data from SAP Solution Manager. You can restart the collector, stop it, or start it whenever necessary.

To restart the Java Data Collector

  1. From the PATROL Console work area, right-click an existing SAP Solution Manager system (SSM_SOLMAN).
  2. Select KM Commands > Java Data Collector > Restart.

To stop the Java Data Collector

  1. From the PATROL Console work area, right-click an existing SAP Solution Manager system.
  2. Select KM Commands > Java Data Collector > Stop.

To start the Java Data Collector

  1. From the PATROL Console work area, right-click an existing SAP Solution Manager system.
  2. Select KM Commands > Java Data Collector > Start.
