SLD Port

The number of the port for connecting to the SLD

SLD Protocol

The protocol to use for connecting to the SLD, either http or https (a secured connection).

PI Components Protocol

The protocol to use for connecting to PI components.

Admin User

A user with administration privileges for logging on to the SLD.

Admin Password

The password for the specified SLD user.

RWB User

The user to connect to the Runtime Workbench (RWB).

RWB Password

The password for the specified RWB user. The user to connect to the SAP PI Business Systems.

Business Systems User

The password for the specified Business Systems user

Business Systems Password

Select this option to not generate any events for the long running jobs in BMC Event Manager.

Perform SLD Connection Test

When selected, performs a connection test between the product and the SLD that is defined in the dialog box.

For the users that you need to specify, you can set up a single dedicated user to whom you assign a group of required roles. For further information, see the BMC PATROL for SAP Solution Manager online documentation. Alternatively, you can use the following existing SAP users: PISUPER for connecting to the SLD, PIRWBUSER for connecting to the RWB, and PIAPPLUSER for connecting to Business Systems.
