This topic contains the Parameters table, which lists the BMC PATROL for Oracle e-Business Suite parameters and their attributes.

Column headings defined

The column headings used in the Parameters table are defined as follows:

Column heading	Definition
Description	states the parameter name and describes the parameter's function; for consumer parameters, lists the collector parameters that gather the data displayed by this parameter
Active at Installation	indicates whether the parameter is active or inactive by default
Parameter Type	indicates the parameter type: standard (Std) gathers and displays a single data value; collector (Coll) gathers multiple data values but has no display capabilities; consumer (Con) displays values gathered by collector or standard parameters. Some standards have collector properties.
Border Range¹	defines the default range for the parameter; can be set so that values that fall outside this range trigger warnings, alarms, or recovery actions
Alarm1 Range¹	specifies the thresholds for the first-level alarm; not applicable to collector parameters
Alarm2 Range¹	specifies the thresholds for the second-level alarm; not applicable to collector parameters
Scheduling (poll time)	specifies how frequently the parameter will run and collect data (polling cycle); not applicable to consumer parameters
Icon Style	specifies whether the parameter is represented as a graph, gauge, text box, stoplight (signal), or Boolean state
Unit	specifies the unit of measure in which the parameter output is expressed, such as a percentage, a number, or bytes

Parameters table

NumAppError Displays the number of errors of the internal manager of Oracle Applications during the time period specified in the error display window. Num DBError Displays the number of databases errors that occurred during the time period specified in the error display window. OAStatus Displays the status of the Oracle application. This status is a combination of DbStatus, SqlNetStatus, Concurrent managers, Forms server, Web server, Metrics Server and Metrics Client. If the DB listener, the application listener, the Internal manager, and the Conflict Resolution manager are up and running, the parameter is a green stoplight. The parameter is a red stoplight if one or more of the following is down: DB listener, application listener, Internal manager, and Conflict Resolution manager. The OAStatus parameter is a yellow stoplight (warning status), if one or more of the middle-tier application servers is down.
