Terminating user sessions
You might need to kill a user session if the Concurrent User Licenses threshold is crossed, or if the user is consuming too many system resources. You might also need to kill blocking, long-idle, multi-session, or high-CPU users. You can identify the problem user by monitoring process and license parameters.
- From APP_USER application menu, select Kill User Session.
Enter the Oracle user name and password, and click Accept.
The Kill Login Session selection dialog appears.
- Select the user session you want to kill and click Accept.
You can select multiple user sessions and kill the selected sessions. The Confirmation dialog box appears prompting you to ensure the user session listed in the Confirmation dialog box is the user session that you want to kill. - Click Yes to kill the listed user.
The Kill User Session report displays the result.
