Setting the user logon session threshold

To set the user logon session threshold:

  1. Depending on the type of users, whether regular Oracle Applications users or self-service application users, select the Setup > User Sessions > Set Session Threshold menu command from either the APP_USER (OA_USER) application menu or from the SELF_APP_USER (OA_SELF_APP_USERS) application menu.
The Set Session Threshold dialog box appears.
  2. As the default, users can log in to up to ten sessions at a time (threshold value = 10 sessions). Enter the new desired logon threshold value.
  3. Click Accept.

When a user exceeds the threshold number, the NumMultiLoginUser parameter (for Oracle Applications users) or the NumSelfAppMultiLoginUser parameter (for self-service applications users) will alarm, helping you to identify multi-login users.
