Setting the number of concurrent user licenses

BMC PATROL for Oracle e-Business Suite monitors licenses using the Oracle Named User Licensing. Use this task to set the number of concurrent user licenses that you purchased for monitoring by PATROL for Oracle e-Business Suite

Note

The license check is disabled by default. You must first enable license checking.

  1. From the APP_USER application menu, select Setup > Concurrent User Licenses.
    The Concurrent User License Number dialog box displays the current setting in the Number of Licenses field.
  2. Enter the number of concurrent user licenses that you own and click Accept.
    The NumUserExceedLic parameter goes into alarm when this threshold is reached or exceeded.
