Monitoring users


You can monitor the following activities for users and user processes:

  • the number of licenses in use
  • the number of user sessions
  • the top usage users
  • selected users

In order to monitor user activities and processes, you must set the audit level of the OA_USER parameters and OA_SELF_APP_USERS parameters in Oracle Applications to RESPONSIBILITY or FORM, depending on the level of data that you want obtained from the Oracle database. Contact your system administrator for further information. Monitoring of self-service applications is available only on Oracle Applications 11.5.10 and later.

To access monitoring information about Oracle Applications users

Follow the applicationID (OA_SYSTEM) > APP_USER (OA_USER) pathway to display the child parameters of the application class.

To access monitoring information about self-service applications users

Follow the applicationID (OA_SYSTEM) > SELF_APP_USER (OA_SELF_APP_USERS) pathway to display the child parameters of the application class.
