Monitoring interface transaction modules

The Interface Transaction Manager (INTRFC_TRANS) controls the interface transactions of several Interface Transaction modules in your Oracle Applications environment. In order to activate the collector of the Interface Transaction Manager, you have to select the data collection of the Interface Transactions Manager. After you initiate the data collection for the Interface Transaction Manager, you enable the monitoring of all Interface Transaction modules. You have to select the data collection of each Interface Transaction module you want to monitor in order to activate them. Deselecting scaling data collection of the Interface Transaction Manager disables the monitoring of all interface transaction modules.

In addition, you can view the parameters of the Interface Transaction modules selected for monitoring in the corresponding business transaction modules within the OA_APPLICATION application class.

You can scale data collection for Interface Transaction monitoring by selecting the specific Interface Transaction modules you want monitored. By default, no Interface Transaction modules are selected, and Interface Transaction monitoring is activated only after you select the desired modules. After a module is activated, all of its parameters are activated as well and you have the option of scaling down and selecting which parameters you want monitored.

Within each Interface Transaction module, you can select the parameters for which you want to have annotated data points.
