Setting unique thresholds for parameters of an individual concurrent manager
For several concurrent manager parameters (of the OA_MGR application class), you can set threshold values that are unique to an individual concurrent manager (differing from all other concurrent managers).
- Follow the pathway applicationID (OA_SYSTEM) > CONC_MGR (OA_CONM) > CONMGR_nodeName (OA_CONM_HOST) > concurrent_manager_name (OA_MGR) pathway.
- From the concurrent_manager_name (OA_MGR) menu, select the Set Unique Threshold > parameter command. You can set threshold values that are unique to an individual concurrent manager (differing from all other concurrent managers) for the following parameters:
- NumWarnCompletedReq
- NumMgrRunPendReq
- NumErrCompletedReq
- ConMgrStatus
- ConMgrUtilization
The Set-Parameter-Threshold-dialog-box is displayed.
- Enter a new threshold value for this parameter on the specific concurrent manager.
- Select whether to have an alarm issued when the threshold is exceeded (either Active or Inactive).
- Click Accept.
The new threshold and alarm status are now set for the selected parameter on the specific concurrent manager.
