Deactivating individual concurrent managers
When you deactivate a concurrent manager, running requests will complete before the manager is shut down, and pending requests will wait until the concurrent manager is activated. You might want to shut down specific concurrent managers if these are inactive and you want to conserve resources.
- Follow the applicationID (OA_SYSTEM) > CONC_MGR (OA_CONM) > CONMGR_applicationID (OA_CONM_HOST) pathway.
The concurrent_manager_name (OA_MGR) icons appear. - From the desired concurrent_manager_name menu, select the Deactivate Manager command.
The OS Account Info dialog box appears. - Enter the operating system applmgr user name and password and click Accept.
The progress and results of the command are reported in the task output window. If you deactivate a concurrent manager, running requests will complete before the manager is shut down, and pending requests will wait until the concurrent manager is activated. The icon for the concurrent manager will enter a dimmed state.
