Displaying key flexfield reports
A flexfield is a field made up of sub-fields or segments. A flexfield appears on your form as a pop-up window that contains a prompt for each segment. Each segment has a name and a set of valid values. There are two types of flexfields: key flexfields and descriptive flexfields.
The PATROL KM reports on flexfields used in the selected Oracle Applications module. The KM prompts you to select application modules from a sorted list. For flexfields used in the selected application modules, this report displays the following information:
- application abbreviation
- flexfield name
- code
- application table name
- structure name
- segment name
- table column
- value set name
To display a key flexfield report
- From the applicationID window, right-click the AOL icon.
- From the KM Commands menu, select the System Report > Key Flexfield Report menu command. The Select Application Module dialog box appears.
- Select an application module from the list and click Accept. The Key Flexfield Report appears, which displays the flexfields defined for the selected application module.
