Identifying top 10 time consuming requests
Use the following procedure to identify the ten most time-consuming concurrent requests. After a time-consuming request has been identified, you can decide how to alleviate the request. The Overall Top 10 Time Consuming Requests report displays the top 10 most time-consuming concurrent requests for all application modules that completed during the specified date interval.
In addition to identifying the top 10 most time-consuming concurrent requests for all application modules, you can review the top 10 most time-consuming concurrent requests for a single application module. This report displays the top 10 most time-consuming concurrent requests for the selected application module that completed during the specified date interval.
The list of concurrent requests is sorted by running time and displayed in descending order.

To identify the top 10 time consuming requests for all application modules
- Follow the applicationID (OA_SYSTEM) > CONC_REQUEST (OA_REQUEST) pathway.
- From the CONC_REQUEST (OA_REQUEST) menu, select the Performance Analysis > Top 10 Time Consuming Requests > Overall command.
The Enter Start Date and End Date dialog box appears. - Type the beginning and end dates for the report interval.
The date must be in the DD-MON-YYYY format, with MON in uppercase format (JAN for January, FEB for February, etc.). - Click Accept.
The interval for the top 10 time consuming requests report for all application modules is now set. You can view the results by double-clicking the Top 10 Time Consuming Requests report. The list of concurrent requests is sorted by running time and displayed in descending order.
To identify the top 10 time consuming requests for specific application modules
- Follow the applicationID (OA_SYSTEM) > CONC_REQUEST (OA_REQUEST) pathway.
- From the CONC_REQUEST (OA_REQUEST) menu, select the Performance Analysis > Top 10 Time Consuming Requests > By Application command.
The List of Application Modules dialog box appears. - Select the application module for which you want to identify the top 10 most time-consuming concurrent requests.
The Enter Start Date and End Date dialog box appears. - Type the beginning and end dates for the report interval.
