Determining concurrent request history
Use the following procedure to determine the history of a concurrent request. The concurrent request history report displays the execution history for the selected concurrent request during the specified date interval. This report will provide you with the amount of time the system historically requires to complete specific concurrent requests. Using this information, you can appropriately adjust the long-running threshold for selected long-running requests.
- Follow the applicationID (OA_SYSTEM) > CONC_REQUEST (OA_REQUEST) pathway.
- From the CONC_REQUEST (OA_REQUEST) menu, select the System Report > Concurrent Request History command.
The List of first Characters dialog box appears. - Select the first character of the concurrent request name of which you want to receive a concurrent history report and click Accept.
The Enter Start Date and End Date dialog box appears. - Type the beginning and end dates for the report interval.
The date must be in the DD-MON-YYYY format, with MON in uppercase format (JAN for January, FEB for February, etc.). - Click Accept.
The interval for the concurrent request history report for the selected concurrent request is now set. You can view the results by double-clicking the Concurrent Request History report. The report displays the list of concurrent requests is sorted by starting time and displayed in descending order.
