OA_REQUEST Setup menu


The OA_REQUEST Setup menu contains the following KM-specific menu commands:

Command

Description

Default Long Pending Threshold

Sets the number of minutes used as the default long pending threshold. When a request has been pending for longer than this threshold, the request will be recorded as a long pending request. The out-of-box setting is 10 minutes.

Default Report Date Interval

The information contained in the OA_REQUEST application class reports is based on the date interval set. Out of the box, there is no default date set. This command allows you to set the default date interval The date set will be applied to OA_REQUEST reports.

If you do not want to set the default date for every OA_REQUEST report, you must enter the date interval you want each time you run a report.

Annotation

Allows you to select which parameters of OA_REQUEST are to be annotated if they are in WARN or ALARM state. The default is not to annotate, regardless of the state of the parameters.

Scale Data Collection

Allows you to select which options (optional parameters) are to be monitored. If there are some parameters that you are not interested in, you can exclude them from monitoring, thus saving CPU cycles.

Request/Program Settings

Enables you to add, delete, and view concurrent requests on the following lists:

  • List of Monitored Request Sets
  • List of Scheduled Requests
  • Long Pending Exclusion List
  • Long Running Exclusion List

Error/Warning List

Enables you to add concurrent requests to the various types of inclusion/exclusion lists, as well as delete from any of these lists or view the requests on a list.

Long Running Threshold

Sets the number of minutes used as the default long running threshold. When a request has been running for longer than this threshold, the request will be recorded as a long running request.

Accesses the following menu commands:

  • Default Threshold
  • Add Threshold
  • Change Threshold
  • Delete Threshold
