Interface transaction modules
The Interface Transaction application is an integration tool that enables you to capture data from other Oracle and non-Oracle applications, convert and validate the obtained data, and insert the data through the relevant programs to their destined locations. The BMC PATROL for Oracle e-Business Suite Interface Transaction Manager monitors the validation process and the insertion of the data through programs into the destined tables within Oracle Applications. After the data is stored in temporary Interface tables, it remains in pending status until the relevant program processes the data and validates it.
BMC PATROL for Oracle e-Business Suite provides you with parameters that monitor the Interface Transaction modules of Oracle Applications that it supports. The stoplight parameters go into alarm when the concurrent managers do not schedule the Interface Transaction programs that have data in pending status in the temporary Interface tables. The graph and text parameters list the table rows that the programs did not validate.
