Configuring the application system
You must configure the Oracle Application ID, or instance, to be monitored by PATROL.
To monitor an Oracle database instance, you must configure the instance with BMC PATROL for Oracle e-Business Suite using the procedure Adding-an-Oracle-Applications-server-configuration.
If you are running a three-tier configuration, in addition to the instructions for the two-tier configuration, you must also complete the instructions in Configuring-middle-tier-servers.
After an instance is configured for monitoring, you can modify, view, or delete configuration settings. See Modifying-viewing-or-deleting-configurations.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
