Configuring a remote database host

Perform the following configuration task if you want to monitor a remote database host. This will enable the monitoring of all types of processes at the operating system for the remote host (that is, not only application processes) through the OA_PROCESS application class.

  1. From the OA_SYS_CONT (OA_OS) menu, select Add Remote Server Host.
  2. Define the properties of the remote host through the Remote-Host-dialog-box.
Warning

Note

To subsequently delete the defined remote host, use the Delete Remote Server Host command.
