WebLogic Managed Server (BEAWLS_MANAGED)


The BEAWLS_MANAGED application class represents a managed server in the WebLogic environment. In an environment with multiple WebLogic Servers, one server is designated the administration server and all other servers are called managed servers. Each managed server obtains its configuration from the administration server at startup.

Note

The WebLogic Managed Server monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the BEAWLS_MANAGED application class in BMC PATROL.

In addition to standard InfoBox fields, the BEAWLS_MANAGED InfoBox contains the following information for all WebLogic environments.

Name of the monitored server

Host Name

Host name of the machine on which the WebLogic Server resides (displayed for basicbasic-full level monitoring)

Host IP Address

IP address of the host on which the WebLogic Server resides (displayed for basic-full level monitoring)

Listen Port

Plain-text (non-SSL) port number on which the server listens for requests (displayed for basic-full level monitoring)

Server Name

Monitored WebLogic managed server name (server resident on the same host as the PATROL Agent)

Activation Time

Time this server was activated (displayed for basicbasic-full level monitoring)
