Configuring WebLogic Server 12.x or later

Environment Configuration | |
Environment name | Specify the environment unique name for WebLogic Server. The name should not have special characters. |
Host IP | Specify the host name or IP address of the WebLogic Server you want to monitor. |
Port | Specify the port number of the WebLogic Server. The default port number is 7001. |
Protocol | Select the protocol for monitoring WebLogic Server from the available list:

WebLogic user name | Specify the WebLogic Server administration user name. This field is optional if you are using a two way SSL connection with digital certification. |
WebLogic password | Specify the WebLogic Server administration password. |
Monitor admin server as standalone | Enable this option if you want to monitor WebLogic admin server as managed server and not as full domain |

Local WebLogic Administrator OS Account | Specify the local administration OS account user name of the local installation of WebLogic. |

Client key PEM file | Specify the client key PEM file for two way SSL connections. |

Availability collection time (min) | Select the availability collection time in minutes. The minimum collection time is one minute and the maximum collection time is 60 minutes. |
Data collection time (min) | Select the data collection time in minutes. The minimum collection time is five minutes and the maximum collection time is 60 minutes. |
Disable device mapping | Select the check box to disable device mapping on the BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Console. |
Generate WebLogic diagnostic report | Select the check box to generate diagnostic report for every WebLogic Server that is running with all the collection data. |
MBean Rules | |
Condition name | Specify the condition name. |
MBean name | Specify the name of the MBean. |
MBean type | Specify the type of the MBean. |
Attribute name | Specify the attribute name. |
WebLogic Server name | Enter the Server name to which the rules should be applied. |

Add to List | To add the configured MBean rule to the list of MBean rules, click the button. |

Filters configuration by application classes | |
Filter configuration by application classes list | |
WebLogic server name | Enter the WebLogic server name to which the filters must be applied. Only one server name is allowed per configuration. Enter All to apply filter to all the WebLogic servers. |
Application classes to filter | |
WebLogic application class | Enter the application class name to filter the instances that you want to include or exclude from monitoring. For a complete list of application classes, see Monitor-types-and-attributes. |
Filtering mode | Select Include or Exclude to include/exclude the instances of the application class. Select None to display all available instances of the application class. |
Include/Exclude application class's instances from Monitoring (regex) | Enter a regular expression to filter the application class instances. Only the instances that satisfy the regular expression will be included/excluded. Multiple values must be separated by a comma. |
Add to List | To add the application class to the list of filtered application classes, click the button. |
Modify Selection | To modify a application class filters, click the button. |
Remove from List | To remove the application class from the list of filtered application classes, click the button. |
Add to List | To add the configured WebLogic server, click the button. |
Modify Selection | To modify a configured WebLogic server, click the button. |
Remove from List | To remove the configured WebLogic server from the list of configured servers, click the button. |
Add to List | Click this option for confirming the configuration information that you provided and adding the environments to the list of Oracle WebLogic environments. |
Modify Selection | Select one of the items that you added to the list in the preceding step, and click this option to modify details. |
Remove from List | Select the items added earlier and click this option to delete that item from the list of configured objects and the clear the details provided in the earlier fields. |
Add | Click this option to add this monitoring configuration. This information is displayed on the Monitor Configuration page. After you click this option, you can continue to add more objects for monitoring. |
Reset | Click this option to clear off your configuration details and revert to default settings. |
Close | Click this option to exit without saving any changes. |
