CollectionStatus icon is flashing

If the PATROL Java collector is not working, the CollectionStatus icon will flash, indicating an alarm condition. There will be annotation with the describe of the problem.

Possible cause 1: data collection is off

If a server connection is down, collection will probably fail.

Solution 1
 Check the ConnectionStatus parameter. If it is in alarm, you may need to restart the server.

Possible cause 2: components not configured

Values entered configuration dialog boxes may be incorrect. This is especially likely if you have just installed the product or if you have recently changed the configuration of your WebLogic application or its server environment.

Solution 2

Check configuration information. From the BEAWLS_ENVIRONMENT icon, choose Edit WebLogic Environment. Verify that the values are correctly entered in the user name and password fields, the port number, the WebLogic setWLSEnv script file location is right

Possible cause 3: Don't have read permission to the WebLogic setWLSEnv script file

Solution 3

Use the local user name & password fields from the configuration screen
