Migrating Groups

Perform the following task to migrate all servers in a group from one machine to another.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • Installed the PATROL Agent and Console and have them running
  • Loaded and configured the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo

To Migrate a Machine

  1. Right-click the BEATUX_MIGRATION application icon.
  2. Choose KM Commands > Migrate Group.
     The Migrate Group Instance dialog box appears.

  3. From the list of available instances, click the group you want migrated.
  4. Click OK.
     A dialog box appears telling you that the group will be shut down.
  5. Click OK to complete the migration or Cancel to stop the migration operation, leaving the groups where they were.

You are ready to monitor the configured Tuxedo environment.
