Adding a User to the ACL


Perform the following task to add a user to the access control list.

Before you begin


Ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • installed the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo and PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo and have them running
  • loaded and configured the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo for Tuxedo

To Add a User to the ACL

  1. Right-click the BEATUX_ACL application icon.
  2. Choose KM Commands => User => Add.
     The Add ACL User dialog box appears.

  3. Complete the Add ACL User dialog box as follows:
    • In User Name, enter the name of the user you wish to add to the ACL.
    • In Client Name, enter the name of the client to which this user will have access.
    • In User ID, enter the user ID of the user.
    • In Group ID, enter the group ID of the user.
    • In Password, enter the user's password.
  4. Click Accept to add this user to the access control list.
