Viewing Sniff Patterns

Perform the following task to see details about all defined pattern matching strings that are being applied to log file entries.

Before you begin


Ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • installed the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo and PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo and have them running
  • loaded and configured the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo for Tuxedo

To View Sniff Patterns

  1. Double-click the APPS_LOGS icon.
  2. Right-click the log instance icon, and choose KM Commands => Sniff Pattern Setup => View Registered Patterns.
     Detailed information about all currently defined sniff patterns appears in a task output window.
