Turning Off and Restarting Sniff Pattern Matching
Perform the following task to stop or restart applying pattern matching strings to log file entries.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have completed the following items:
- installed the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo and PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo and have them running
- loaded and configured the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo for Tuxedo
To Turn Off Sniff Pattern Matching
- Double-click the APPS_LOGS icon.
- Right-click the log instance icon.
- Choose KM Commands => Sniff Pattern Setup => Stop Pattern Sniffing.
Data annotation and copying of events to the PATROL event catalog are now disabled.
To Restart Sniff Pattern Matching
- Double-click the APPS_LOGS icon.
- Right-click the log instance icon.
- Choose KM Commands => Sniff Pattern Setup => Restart Pattern Sniffing.
