Managing Log Files

PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo provides tools for administering and monitoring log files. Any log file can be monitored, however, the PATROL KM includes AutoScan features that look specifically for three types of commonly used log files:

  • Tuxedo server logs created as a result of starting the Tuxedo server with the -o server option (servopt)
  • Tuxedo and PeopleSoft logs under the registered PeopleSoft log directory ($PS_HOME/appserv//LOGS* )
  • PeopleSoft Process Monitoring logs ($PS_HOME/appserv/prcs//LOGS* )
