Booting the Tuxedo Domain

Perform the following task to boot all administrative and application servers in the Tuxedo domain.

Note

  • A special user-defined security feature is available from the KM and can be accessed from BEATUX_SYSTEM > Global > Commands > Menu Command > Admin. Right-click Boot Domain. Then, use the security tab to specify the preference. See the PATROL for Windows NT User Guide, or the PATROL for Unix User Guide for complete instructions.
  • PeopleSoft users: If you are using this KM to monitor the Tuxedo system of PeopleSoft version 7.5 under Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, the Boot Domain menu command and the Oracle Tuxedo native tmboot command may not start some PeopleSoft application servers. Use the PSADMIN tool in PeopleSoft to start those servers.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • Installed the PATROL Agent and Console and have them running
  • Loaded and configured the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo

To Start the Tuxedo Domain
