Viewing the PATCOL Debug Log


Perform the following task to view the PATCOL debug log.

This command is used to view information written to the PATCOL log file. The file is in the directory $PATROL_HOME/../BEATUXKM and is named host-port-instance_name.log.

Tip

This command is most useful after you have requested maximum PATCOL tracing; otherwise you get only minimal debug information. For more information, see Turning On Maximum PATCOL Tracing.

Before you begin

 

Ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • Installed the PATROL Agent and Console and have them running
  • Loaded and configured the PATROL KM for Tuxedo

To View the PATCOL Debug Log

  1. Right-click the BEATUX_SYSTEM application icon.
  2. Choose KM Commands > KM Admin. > View PATCOL Debug Log.
     The PATCOL debug log window appears.
