Turning On Maximum PATCOL Tracing


Perform the following task to turn on maximum tracing in PATCOL.

This command sets the debug level to 3 in the recording file and saves patcol function information (such as input and output data, plus some native Tuxedo ATMI function call information) to a file named host-port-instance_name.log in $PATROL_HOME/../BEATUXKM/.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • Installed the PATROL Agent and Console and have them running
  • Loaded and configured the PATROL KM for Tuxedo

To Turn On Maximum PATCOL Tracing

  1. Right-click the BEATUX_SYSTEM application icon.
  2. Choose KM Commands > KM Admin. > PATCOL Debug > Maximum Tracing on PATCOL.

You are ready to monitor the configured Tuxedo environment and administer and debug the PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo collector information.
