Selecting Groups to be Monitored

Perform the following task to select which server groups are to be monitored for a given machine.

PATROL for Oracle Tuxedo does not automatically monitor server groups and their corresponding servers. In order to monitor server groups, they must be explicitly selected for monitoring.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • Installed the PATROL Agent and Console and have them running
  • Loaded and configured the PATROL KM for Tuxedo

To Select Groups for Monitoring

  1. Right-click the instance icon of the machine on which you want to select groups, and choose KM Commands > Server Group Monitoring.

The Server Group Monitoring Selection dialog box appears and lists the server groups that are available on the machine and the server groups that are currently being monitored.
