Selecting Servers to be Monitored


Perform the following task to select which servers are to be monitored within a given group.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • Installed the PATROL Agent and Console and have them running
  • Loaded and configured the PATROL KM for Tuxedo

To Select Servers for Monitoring

  1. Right-click the instance icon of the group on which you want to select servers.
  2. Choose KM Commands > Active Server Monitoring.
     The Server Monitoring Selection dialog box appears and shows which servers are available in the group and which are currently being monitored.

  3. Select the servers to be monitored as follows:
    • To select one servers to be monitored, highlight the server in Select the specific active servers in this server group to monitor and click Add ->.
    • To select all servers in the list, click Add all ->.
  4. Click Accept.
     The selected servers are listed in Servers Selected to be Monitored.
  5. Click Done after you have selected all the servers that you want to monitor.

    Note

    To stop monitoring specific servers, click the servers in Servers Selected to be Monitored and click <- Remove. Then click Accept.
