Unregistering or Changing Tuxedo Instances

A Tuxedo system will be monitored by PATROL for as long as the configuration remains valid, unless you unregister the instance.

If you change your Tuxedo configuration (i.e., you change your TUXCONFIG file), the PATROL icon for the instance will flash, reflecting an alarm status. In this situation, you should unregister the instance and re-register it, as described in Registering-a-Tuxedo-Instance.

If you changed the TUXCONFIG file, but did not move it, you can avoid unregistering and re-registering the instance by restarting your PATROL Agent.

To Unregister a Tuxedo Instance

  1. Right-click the BEATUX_SETUP icon.
  2. Choose KM Commands > Unregister Tuxedo Instance.
The UnRegister Tuxedo Instance dialog box appears, listing all Tuxedo instances that have been registered.
  3. Select the instance you want to unregister.
  4. Click OK
