Changing the User ID and Passwords on the Local Host


The Change all local Passwords command enables you to change the user ID and password configured within PATROL for all locally registered Tuxedo instances. 

Note

After running the Change All Local Passwords command, you must restart patcol (KM Commands for the Tuxedo instance > KM Admin. > Restart PATCOL). 

To Change the User ID and Password Configuration on the Local Host

  1. Right-click the BEATUX_SETUP icon. 
  2. Choose KM Commands > Multi Instance Password Changes > Change All Local Passwords. The Change Password dialog box appears.

  3. Complete the Change Password dialog box as follows:
    • In Current Tuxedo User ID, enter the user name that you want to change.
    • In Password, enter the password that you want to change.
    • In New Tuxedo User ID, enter the new user ID that you want to specify for PATROL configuration.
    • In Password, enter the new password to be associated with the new user ID.
  4. Click Accept. The local password configuration is changed and a status message is displayed.
