Pre-requisite

Before configuring the KM, perform the following:

  • Ensure that the user you use for monitoring Oracle objects has proper authorizations. For more information, see Monitoring-categories-and-user-permissions.
  • If you are using TrueSight console, to use the KM and configure infrastructure policies to start monitoring your Oracle databases, either upgrade to TrueSight Presentation Server 11.3.04 and apply the 11.3.04.000.002 (HF#2) (or latest) hotfix or download and copy the KMLFile.xsd file to the <TrueSight Presentation Server installation directory>/TrueSightPServer/truesightpserver/conf directory and restart TrueSight Presentation Server.
