Retain Oracle RAC instance and its alerts during node outage
Oracle RAC monitoring supports improved visibility of instances and their associated alerts during node outages. When a node in an Oracle RAC cluster becomes unavailable, the associated instance is no longer removed from the monitoring environment during the 24-hour discovery cycle.
With this capability, you get the following benefits:
- Continuous monitoring of Oracle RAC instances
- Active alerts during the discovery cycle
- Quick issue resolution during planned and unplanned outages
