Disabling instance to device mapping

When a PATROL Agent reports data in TrueSight Infrastructure Management, the PATROL for Oracle Enterprise Database host appears as a device in the TrueSight console because the Device mapping option is enabled by default in the monitoring policy's environment settings. 

You can disable this feature to display all instances and parameters of the KM under the PATROL Agent device.

To disable device mapping for an PATROL for Oracle Enterprise Database environment, you can do either of the following:

• Disable the Device mapping option in the monitoring policy's environment settings.
• Use the following PCM rule:
  /KOE/Oracle/Standalone/<<environment name>>/setI2dFlag" = {REPLACE = 0}
