Using the ConfigUpdate parameter

When you make a change to the instance configuration variables or parameters by using PATROL Configuration Manager, you must add one or both of these rules to the rule sets using the following guidelines:

  • If a rule set changes an instance configuration variable or a parameter, then add the POKKMConfigUpdated rule to the rule set.
  • If a rule set removes an instance, add the POKKMConfigInstanceRemoved rule to the rule set.
  • If a rule set modifies an instance configuration variable or a parameter and removes an instance, add both the POKKMConfigUpdated and the POKKMConfigInstanceRemoved rules to the rule set.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
