The PATROL for Oracle Database 9.7.10 has been enhanced with the following changes and new features.
Oracle KM now supports a detailed events report
An option was added to the Oracle monitoring failed jobs configuration options to generate a detailed event per job.
The KM will send an individual event for jobs in which the last execution status is:
Event status | Description |
---|---|
FAILED | A job that has a failed status on the last run. |
BROKEN | A job that has a broken status on the last run. |
OVERDUE | The last attempt to start the job exceeded the set period of time (default: 2 minutes). |
LONG RUNNING | The last run of the job exceeded the set period of time (default: 60 minutes). |
Support for VMS has been stopped
The support for OpenVMS has been stopped from this version of the KM.
Privilege to execute SQL*Plus commands
To configure instances of several monitoring solutions, it is required that the PATROL console user has the privilege to execute SQL*Plus commands.
