Announcement Support for this product will end on December 22, 2025. To monitor Oracle databases, we recommend that you use PATROL for Oracle Enterprise Database.

9.7.10: Service Pack 1

The PATROL for Oracle Database 9.7.10 has been enhanced with the following changes and new features.

Oracle KM now supports a detailed events report

An option was added to the Oracle monitoring failed jobs configuration options to generate a detailed event per job.

The KM will send an individual event for jobs in which the last execution status is:

Event status

Description

FAILED

A job that has a failed status on the last run.

BROKEN

A job that has a broken status on the last run.

OVERDUE

The last attempt to start the job exceeded the set period of time (default: 2 minutes).

LONG RUNNING

The last run of the job exceeded the set period of time (default: 60 minutes).

Note:

To support the detailed events report, you must configure an MRL script that only displays events which are still open. For more details, see Oracle monitoring failed jobs configuration options.

Support for VMS has been stopped

The support for OpenVMS has been stopped from this version of the KM.
