Guidelines

Announcement Support for this product will end on December 22, 2025. To monitor Oracle databases, we recommend that you use PATROL for Oracle Enterprise Database.

Oracle Log (ORACLE_LOG)

Represents all the logging parameters for the instance. You can monitor the parameters for logging issues. ORACLE_LOG is available once the instance has been configured, and once the LOG category has been selected to be active. The ORACLE_LOG icon is labelled LOG. This application class or category is not enabled for monitoring by default; it must be enabled before the parameters will be populated.
