PATROL for Oracle Cloud Monitoring provides a detailed view of all system activity over time so that you can detect problems, optimize systems, analyze trends, and manage multiple Oracle Services simultaneously.

Administrator

Administrators are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the PATROL for Oracle Cloud Monitoring KM implementation.

Some of the tasks executed by an Administrator are:

  • Install and upgrade the product
  • Create Azure users and applications
  • Create and assign roles and access groups to users
  • Configure the KM

End User

End Users of PATROL for Oracle Cloud Monitoring can represent a variety of different roles, such as IT Operations user, Technology Specialist, and Solution Administrator.

They usually do not execute tasks on PATROL for Oracle Cloud Monitoring, but rather access and consume results of the KM, such as PATROL for Oracle Cloud Monitoring reports or graphs.

Support

Support of the PATROL for Oracle Cloud Monitoring KM are (internal or external) resources that can seek troubleshooting information about monitoring the KM.
