This topic contains information about the features for PATROL for MongoDB 1.1.20.

For information about issues corrected in this release, see Known and corrected issues.

Support for MongoDB 4.2 and 4.4

The KM now supports MongoDB 4.2 and 4.4. For more information, see System-requirements.

Support for SCRAM-SHA-256

The KM now supports the Salted Challenge Response Authentication Mechanism (SCRAM)-SHA-256 hashing function. For more information, see Configuring-a-MongoDB-environment.

Configuring Java location made optional

While creating an infrastructure policy, configuring the Java home field is now optional. When you leave this field blank, the KM looks for the JAVA_HOME environment variable or Java installed in the PATROL Agent home directory. For more information, see Configuring-a-MongoDB-environment.

Removed Database Status attribute

The Database Status attribute is removed from the Mongo Database Name class. For more information, see Mongo-Database-Name.
