Windows Event Log Files (NT_EVLOGFILES)
By default, enables you to monitor and manage Windows event logs.
The NT_EVLOGFILES application class icons are displayed in the NT_EVENTLOG window. The NT_EVLOGFILES application window contains the icons for the NT_EVINSTS application class which displays all instances defined for that event log.
NT_EVLOGFILES has the following three instances:
- Event log application: Event Log Application instance monitors the application event log.
- Event log security :Event Log Security instance monitors the security event log.
- Event log system : The Event Log System instance monitors the system event log.
InfoBox
The following information is displayed on the NT_EVLOGFILES InfoBox:

State | the current state of the object |
Application class | name of the application class |
Default user name | the default PATROL user name, if any |
Worst parameter | the name of the application parameter that is having the most problems, if any; if more than one parameter is in a warning or an alarm, the parameter with the most severe problems is shown |
History retention | the length of time history is retained |
NT KM version | the version of the PATROL KM for Windows OS currently in use |
