NETBEUI Protocols (NT_NETBEUI)

Monitors data transmissions across the network that follow the NetBIOS End User Interface standard (NetBEUI). It also tracks the resources, such as buffers, used by the NetBEUI protocol.
To monitor network protocols, you must have the SNMP service installed.

Note

The NETBEUI Protocols monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_NETBEUI application class in BMC PATROL.

InfoBox

The following information is displayed on the NT_NETBEUI InfoBox:

Item

Description

Icon type

the type of icon selected (computer, application, container, parameter)

State

the current state of the object

Application class

name of the application class

Default user name

the default PATROL user name, if any

Worst parameter

the name of the application parameter that is having the most problems, if any
If more than one parameter is in a warning or an alarm state, the parameter with the most severe problems is shown

History retention

the length of time history is retained

NT KM version

the version of the PATROL KM for Windows OS currently in use
