Virtual machine reserve (HVVPReserve)

Displays the amount of resource reserved for the partition (virtual machine).

Note

The Virtual machine reserve attribute in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the HVVPReserve parameter in BMC PATROL.

The total resource available to a partition specifies the percentage that is reserved for the partition. The setting guarantees that the percentage you specify is available to the partition. This setting can also affect the number of virtual partitions that you can run at one time.
