Duplicate Object Error (AdRpDuplicateObject)

Monitors directory replication to report duplicate object errors.

Note

The Duplicate Object Error attribute in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the AdRpDuplicateObject parameter in BMC PATROL.

This parameter monitors the warning Event ID 1083 in the directory service event log. The event source is NTDS replication.

Active Directory is unable to update an object in replication if a duplicate object exists. This problem could be caused by lost objects, lingering objects, or object name conflicts.
