LDAP Global Catalog Connect Status (AdLdGcConnectStatus)


Reports the connectivity/availability of LDAP on a global catalog server using the global catalog port number, 3268.

The collection schedule for the AdLdGcConnectStatus parameter is kept internally. You can change the collection schedule by modifying the following pconfig variable: /ActiveDirectory/Configuration/LdapGcConnStatusSched.

The default value is 3600 seconds or 1 hour.

The LDAP Global Catalog Connect Status attribute in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the AdLdGcConnectStatus parameter in BMC PATROL.
