Configuring a process group

You can group processes that you are currently monitoring into a logical group whose parameter values and alarms are based on the collective values of the individual processes.

Process groups are represented by an NT_PROCESS_GROUP application instance, which is displayed on the PATROL Console under the NT_PROCESS application (labeled Processes).

Before creating a group, enable monitoring for the processes that you want to include in the group, as described in Configuring manual process monitoring.

To configure a process group, from an NT_PROCESS (labeled Processes) application instance, choose the Configure Process Group menu option from the KM commands.
